Reiki Massage
A recent review of our Reiki Massage treatment by ChicagoBeauty.com described the multi-sensory experience. "I could feel her channeling my energy with her rhythmic breathing. After a few minutes I no longer heard any external sounds; all I could focus on was the pulsating colors in my mind. A swirl of violet was streaming, almost like descending fireworks, in my dreamlike vision."

The reviewer concluded by saying, "Kaya stays true to its mission: creating a spa experience that invigorates and restores balance and energy to the mind, body and soul..."

MINTY FRESH
At Kaya Day Spa, "a staircase leads to the space from the street below, allowing 15 or so steps to transition from the nitty-gritty of city life to a calming, cathartic oasis. Large windows overlook the street; a bubbling waterfall lends soothing white noise; and a wooden bar in the Asian-accented reception area offers an appealing time-out spot for a sip of tea on the house...Soon my therapist, Shanda, arrives and leads me to the room where I'll have my nap--er, service...She massages in circular gestures, her hands in perpetual motion; the effect is rhythmic, relaxing and invigorating. I can smell the sweet aroma of mint, and the body oil leaves my skin tingling and alert; meanwhile, the pebbly salt crystals act as a serious exfoliant, giving my skin a much-needed workout..."

"I was extremely impressed by Kaya Day Spa's openness and how "cool" the environment felt. I believe it is the largest Spa in Chicago...Though I do not take baths, I tried their hydrotherapy bath because I figured athletes frequently received these...The bath is hot, yet "smart enough" to keep you cool at the same time. It was pretty cool, and you do not break a sweat. It's just raw, unadulterated therapy. I would recommend it for anyone that hits the weights hard or just got their butt kicked on the basketball court. It was extremely therapeutic...Oh, and one more thing. I met the owner, Maria, and the spa director, Beth. Talk about individuals that care about their business. It is nice to see two people on the same page, keeping their establishment first class and top notch."

"What an amazing afternoon I spent at the Kaya Day Spa. I've done quite a few reviews for services across Chicagoland, and I must say without hesitation that this spa really stands out. Their space is incredible. Too many times in this great city of ours, spas must sacrifice space for cost. Kaya does not subscribe to this theory - located in over 10,000 square feet of pampering space decorated in tranquil earth tones, Kaya Day Spa is simple, spacious and elegant...."

"Step into one of Kaya's 20 private rooms and pick a service; the menu includes antioxidant body wraps, Japanese mint salt glows, and oxygen facials. If relaxation's your goal, you can soak in the hydrotherapy tub, which is tricked out with chromatherapy lights that change the water's glow, mood-ring style."
